for new students
Thai Instructor - We teach foil and epee'  Unpaid American helpers!
Fun for everyone – ages 6 to 70  Men, women and children. Please contact Pen
by phone at 087-325-5476 to discuss private lessons and lessons for
young children/ Thai and English spoken.
Fee is 1000 baht per month/includes rental of basic gear for beginners.
4 classes per month = 1 session per week.  You can arrange your
classes for your convenience; mornings, days or evenings.  
 Daily rate: 250 baht per class for beginners
After completing the beginner classes, your status changes to intermediate.
Intermediate students have the same access to the club as beginners
according to your schedule arrangements.

Intermediate fee is 250 baht per day/1000 baht per month.
Rental gear is available but we do encourage you to purchase your own
fencing equipment after completing the beginner course. After you get
comfortable in matching your skills in the Intermediate course,
you may come to Open Fencing: usually evenings at 100 baht per session.
The fees charged go to paying rent and keeping uniforms clean/repairing & replacing equipment. This is a Competitive Club and a Labor of Love for our sport.

Welcome to Chiang Mai Fencing Club's website.  The club was started by Pennapa Pachanam in 2011.   Her assistant is a volunteer coach/instructor from Alaska, USA and brings 17 years of experience teaching and competing in foil and epee'.    Pennapa has registered the Chiang Mai Fencing Club with the National Thai organization(AFAT) so any fencer wishing to compete in Thailand fencing tournaments, please contact us.   If you are interested in competing or just learning for fun and exercise in this exciting sport, please contact Pen at 087-325-5476.  If you need lessons for Kids - talk to Pen.

NEWS FLASH!  We are moving to a new location. Saturday, April 29 is our last day at the current location.
Our new location is on the 3rd floor of Kad Suan Kaeo shopping mall, around the corner from the escalators at Sport World. The times are Saturdays at 1pm and Wednesdays at 5pm starting on Saturday, May 6th. - we may add more days according to the number of fencers.  Please stop by and sign up with Pennapa.  We are excited about the new place and hope to have many more spectators and interested prospective fencers.
