The Juniper Tree, Chiang Mai is situated in a secluded area near the city centre.  It's about 10-15 minutes drive from the International airport and 5-10 minutes from the railway station and city centre. There is a 9 hole golf course within walking distance and it's just a short taxi ride to banks, travel agents, supermarkets and shopping malls, as well as Chiang Mai's famous Night market.
