Before CMDW2024 on December 7-15, 2024, let's go back in time to review our memories and prepare for the future with 10 things you should know about Chiang Mai Design Week, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the greatest creative festival in the North in 2024, which was first held in 2014 and is about to enter its 10th year in 2024.
The Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) or CEA would like to invite everyone to join the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Chiang Mai Design Week, immerse yourself in the atmosphere and experience the charm of Chiang Mai, view creative works, and join many special activities. To inspire design and creativity with CMDW2024, this year marks the 10th year of the festival under the concept of "SCALING LOCAL: Creativity, Technology And Sustainability - For Reviving Recovery", aiming to unite people's cooperation, extract local knowledge and wisdom, and apply technology and creativity to drive the power of local people to grow to the world stage sustainably.
Come celebrate the journey to the 10th year of the Chiang Mai Design Festival and inspire Chiang Mai's creative industry to shine at the regional, national and international levels together in Chiang Mai Design Week 2024 is packed with 9 days of over 150+ programs, including exhibitions, performing arts, installations, music, films, talks, workshops, events, craft markets (Pop Market), etc., from December 7-15, 2024 in the old city of Chiang Mai, ‘Klang Wiang (Three Kings Monument - Lam Chang)’ and ‘Chang Moi - Chiang Mai Design and Creative Center (TCDC Chiang Mai) - Tha Pae’ and other areas in Chiang Mai, such as Hang Dong and San Kamphaeng.
